Pledging support to a group allows you to make some of your resources available to that group. In a way it is like Patreon where the groups and causes you support create a network of support that sustains the whole.

Example: Create a group to provide a service to traditional business, joining grants them access to your service, while the smart contract that automatically executes, grants access to resources of that business. The same can be said of government contracts.

In times where farms are left unpicked due to labor shortages, bringing farmers into the system in exchange for labor and an agreed upon percentage of food for the connected groups, establishes a baseline for a closed loop logistical network.

A labor union could convert over to provide an expanded suite of benefits and basic needs to their members, then with enough member participation there is potential to absorb the business as a group entity where then labor would be directly provided.
